What are ethics you ask? and why should you care? Ever feel like ethics are just an outdated set of rules? Ever feel like Ethics aren’t so much talked about, as much as shoved down your throat? Do you feel like Ethics is reserved Philosophy, Public Policy and Women’s Studies majors only? Pick up an issue of Encompass and you’ll be surprised.

Ethics are everywhere, and we’re out to prove it. This magazine will bridge usual borders between disciplines, faculty and students, and politics . Encompass is the magazine about ethics for those who don’t particularly *know* about ethics. Encompass presents ethics the way it should be: approachable, interesting, and fun. 

Encompass isn’t about being right or wrong, it’s about understanding the grey between the black and white. It’s about being able to pick apart a complex problem in a simple way.

from Genetic design, to Open Source, to panda express, to cloning, to duke engage, to the international financial crisis, we’re asking questions about the rights and wrongs of issues and where we personally fit into the equation.
